About me

Looking back, the signs were there: I was that kid who would be stationed at the classroom sharpener making sure my pencil crayons were sharp for total outline accuracy. I was that kid that reprinted my Grade 4 autobiography numerous times until the picture-to-paragraph ratio was just right and the title page font was perfect (no easy feat in the technology-limited 90s). I was that same kid who would meticulously line up my Crayola markers in a particular colour sequence, knowing my fine from my broad. Little did I know, I was forming color palettes, typefaces, and other design fundamentals at the age of 9. Now it all makes sense.

My creativity is inspired by food, fashion, and everyday thoughtful design. My drive comes from my big family, faith, and practice of daily gratitude. During my downtime, I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest design trends and best practices, along with a good cup of coffee in hand. I love being at home and enjoying the life my husband and I built together, along with our greatest joys, our three kiddos and pup. You'll often find me in the kitchen cooking for friends and family, making sure each dish has the perfect umami. In the winter months, you'll catch me on the ski hill every weekend trying to improve my carve--and without fail--complaining it's cold out. In my humble opinion, there is no greater view than from top of The Great Divide, and a close second, the Eiffel Tower at night.
